We have received an application for assistance from a single expectant mother in Hendricks county. She needs help with getting a car seat and stroller. We received the referral from Partners In Care, a facility for County residents needing obstetrical or gynecological services who have no private insurance. This is our FIRST client! After reviewing the application we have approved it. We are very excited to be able to offer assistance to this young single mom to be. We are looking forward to accepting many applications in the future so that we may offer assistance to other single parent families!

We signed the papers with Hendricks County Community Foundation. We now have a fund with the community foundation. What does this mean? Until we have our own tax exemption, we are under the umbrella of the foundation and can use theirs. All donations made on our behave will be tax deductible as long as the check is made out to them. You just write a check to Hendricks County Community Foundation and in the memo write our name, BLESSING IN GIVING. They will send back a receipt! It is that easy. We are very excited to be associated with HCCF and look forward to a very rewarding relationship.
