Blessing will be holding it’s second annual Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A in Plainfield on Thursday Nov 11th, 2010 from 5pm-8pm. Drop by for dinner or a snack, eat in, take out or drive thru! Anyay you choose to do it 10% of your purchase price will go to Blssing to help single parents in Hendricks and Morgan Counties.

They bring together a network of community groups, activists, and food programs to ensure that children at risk of hunger have nutritious food where they live, learn and play.

From a lady names Nicole who told me about her cousin. She told me that her cousin had a baby girl named Jaida. Jaida was born 3 months premature and weighed only 2 lbs. She passed away the day after she was born. Jaida’s mommy is a single mom and does not have much and is just trying to get through, what must be the worst time in her life. Nicole is also a single mom just getting by. Nicole told me how she went to the grave site of the baby and when she got there she found the grave had no headstone. There was only a stick with a paper attached which told the stats of the baby in the grave. It saddened her, it also saddened me…greatly.
She asked if we could help her cousin. She would help if she could but as I said, she is a single mom and really does not have the extra resources to help.
This is what Blessing in Giving was founded for. To help people like this….in need. These ladies are representative of both of our causes…they are single moms and have a bereavement need. I want to help them. I will keep you updated. Please pray for Nicole and Jaida’s mommy.
